The YWCA's ENCOREplus program presented its 1st Annual "Bra's for a Cause. Big or Small let's save them ALL" in 2011. Our Second Annual will be held Saturday September 29th 2012 from 2pm-6pm to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month! This event focuses on fighting Breast Cancer with Awareness. It is held on the South Washington Street Bridge, Binghamton, New York during Breast Cancer Awareness Month to spread awareness. Our first annual Stiletto race included both male and female racers! All men and women are welcome to participate in the race each year. Bras will be hung from the bridge throughout the month of October to create awareness during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 

"Bras for a Cause" is sponsored by Magic 101.7 and the YWCA's ENCOREplus program. ENCOREplus encourages everyone to come support our cause. "Bras for a Cause" will include live music and Magic 101.7 will be on site! We will have vendors, food for sale, and much more! Prizes will be awarded to the top three Stiletto racers! Strap on your heels and race for the grand prize! Pledge sheets will be available closer to the event.  FREE ADMISSION!

Magic 101 will be placing Pink bins throughout Broome County during the month of September to donate your new or gently used bras. Women are encouraged to donate to make the bridge display a success!
