Young Wonders Staff & Qualifications:

Becky Krise – Bachelor’s degree in Education.  Young Wonders director since its onset in October 2005.  Over 10 years experience in teaching, mentoring, and directing.  MAT, First aid, and CPR certified

Shayla Barrett – Bachelor’s degree in Education.  10 years experience in working with young children.  Joined the Young Wonders family in June 2009.  First Aid and CPR certified.

Laura Gates (Assistant to the Supervisor) – CDA (Child Development Associates) Credential.  Working towards a Bachelors in Human Services.  Over 7 years experience working with young children.  Joined the Young Wonders family in January 2007.  First Aid and CPR certified.

Infant Educarers:
Richelle Wolf – Currently working on pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Education.  Over 3 years experience working with infants and toddlers.  Joined the Young  Wonders family in July 2009.  MAT, First Aid and CPR certified.
Marjorie McNeil –CDA (Child Development Associates) Credential.  Over 10 years experience working with infants and toddlers. Joined the Young Wonders family in August 2009.   MAT, First Aid and CPR certified.

Toddler Educarers:
Lauren Hanakovic -  CDA (Child Development Associates) Credential and STAR educator status through Broome Community College.   9 credits in early childhood education.  Over 5 years experience working with infants and toddlers.  Joined the Young Wonders family in January 2006.  MAT, First Aid, and CPR certified.
Brenda Ludwig – CDA (Child Development Associates) Credential.  Over 5 years experience working with infants and toddlers.  Joined the Young Wonders family in February 2007.  First Aid and CPR certified.

Preschool Educarers:
Susan High – Master’s degree in Education.  MAT Certification. Over 15 years experience in teaching and working with young children.  Joined the Young Wonders family in June 2009, First Aid, and CPR certified.
Erica Salaman – Bachelor’s of Arts degree in English Literature, currently pursuing CDA (Child Development Associates) Credential.  Joined the Young Wonders family in June 2008.  First Aid and CPR certified.

Pre-K Educarers:
Linda Hopes - Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.  MAT certification. Joined the Young Wonders family in November 2005.  First Aid and CPR certified.
Colleen Snyder  - Bachelor’s degree in Education.  Over 6 years teaching and classroom experience.  Joined the Young Wonders family in August 2008.  First Aid and CPR certified.

Aides:
Irina Orlovskaja – Four year degree in Preschool Pegodogy.  Joined the Young Wonders family in October 2005.  First Aid and CPR certified.
Tulsa Perry – Past experience working with young children.  Joined the Young Wonders family in August 2006.  First aid and CPR certified.
Aubrey Baker – 6 Early Childhood Education credits, currently working toward her ECE certificate and Associates in Early Childhood Education.  Joined the Young Wonders family in March 2007.  First aid and CPR certified.
Wendy Ballard  – Associates in Early Childhood Education.  Joined the Young Wonders family in March 2010.

The YWCA of Binghamton and Broome County is located at 80 Hawley Street in Downtown Binghamton, at the intersection of Exchange and Hawley Streets. The YWCA offers a variety of rental spaces for your various needs.
